Questions before you choose
After antibiotics, clearly explained
What is S. boulardii?
Saccharomyces boulardii is a yeast culture rather than a bacterial strain. Soothe combines it with three named bacterial cultures.
Can I use Soothe while taking antibiotics?
S. boulardii is a yeast culture rather than a bacterial strain, so the formula profile is different from a bacteria-only capsule. Keep taking prescribed antibiotics exactly as directed. If you want to use Soothe during the course, check timing and suitability with your pharmacist or prescriber if you are unsure.
Does Soothe restore gut bacteria after antibiotics?
No. We do not promise to restore or rebalance the microbiome. Soothe is a four-strain live-culture formula with vitamin D and biotin in a simple once-daily format.
When should I get medical advice?
Seek appropriate medical advice for severe, persistent or worsening digestive symptoms, significant pain, fever, blood in your poo, ongoing diarrhoea or signs of dehydration. Do not rely on a food supplement in place of assessment or treatment.
A quick safety note: Food supplements do not replace a varied, balanced diet or healthy lifestyle. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking medication or have a medical condition, check suitability before use.
